Land That I Love Biscornu Book from Teresa Kogut
Here's a really cool book that contains 10 different designs - all the same size at about 80 x 80 in stitch count. Teresa has designed them geometrically - and then assembled them into Biscornu shaped pin cushions.
She uses one general color palette throughout the book, so all of these pieces coordinate... and you can mix and match them to assemble into the cushions.
Just charming, you see the top design, but then bits of the bottom peeking around the edges, and they look even better when two different fabrics are used! Multiple pages, huge color charts, luscious pictures, all these need is you to enjoy! |

A pair of charming designs... one for Summertime, one for Christmas
- Christmas Roses - Measures 122 x 200, and is done on Natural linen. The chart does call for lots of specialty threads and beads... but I bet your stash can come pretty close to delivering most of what you need. Touches of Hardanger down at the bottom, Satin Stitch candles, beaded and sequin garlands, there is a lot going on in the elegant piece. The chart is large, colorful and easy to read.
- The Grove Sheep Farm - What a sweet little cottage scene. The close-up on the cover shows the sheep detail - they are all done with French knots. (But you can sub beads or Wisper thread instead if you'd rather!) Just a teeny piece at 84 x 84... if you leave off the personalization, it'll be a little bit smaller! Beautiful, large colored chart.

- Haunted Hill - I'm looking for the cat in this one... but there are only bats! I think you need to grab a small black cat (from a Chessie design or somewhere) and switch out a border bat for a cat. Another fun, quick seasonal design.

The Mill Hill Village
You'll recognize these Christmas Village businesses as Mill Hill Button and Bead kits that are super hard to get right now. BUT, we have Wichelt's 40th Anniversary book in stock (published in 2010 when they WERE 40 years old) and they INCLUDED the charts for these 4 bead kits right in THIS BOOK!
Currently we do have the Apothecary and Bakery bead kits in stock - but not the General Store or Toy Shoppe (which have been unavailable for over a year.) So... get this book! You can purchase the beads open stock!
Actually, the book is gorgeous. It has 40 pages and includes designs by several artists Mill Hill represents. Seaside Alphabet Sampler Stitch-Along

This is a charming alphabet - coming in a set of 7 releases - beginning August 1st. By The Bay's Donna does the prettiest seaside scenes, and instead of one large piece, she is treating us to 28 - 40 x 40 mini-blocks full of seaside mini designs.
Beginning in August, and continuing through February of 2026, you'll get one chart each month with 4 letters in it... Chart YZ will include the two bottom corner designs.
Stitched on just about any fabric you like, it uses lots of pretty DMC floss shades. Finish your ABCs into single blocks, or make a grand sampler - whatever you want. Each chart (with 4 letters) runs $10.00, we'll be charging each chart as it releases and ships each month.

Captain Patchy Pelican, Stars, Stripes and MooLinda from Quaint Rose
Quaint Rose has been busy designing for the summer season. We have 6 new arrivals... three are shown here, with the rest on her inside pages.
- Captain Patchy Pelican is just the cutest! Part of the scene could be underwater - because there are seaweed plants, swimming fish, and dangling anchors. But, on the beach there is a empty bottle and a lighthouse. Just a super-fun design, Captain is wearing his official hat, very 'at home' on his beach! Presented as a chart, this is coded for DMC or a medley of hand-dyed flosses. Patchy measures 184 x 178 - so quite generous at 10 x 10 on 18/36ct! Chart runs $15.00
- Stars, Stripes and MooLinda - Here is another fun animal with a charming oversized basket on their back. Joining Quilting Nanny and Jingle All the Way Deer, this is turning out to be a really cute and colorful set of designs. MooLinda is the Patriotic one, a summer cow. She measures 109 x 175 - and is stitched with DMC or hand-dyeds. Chart runs $13.50
- August - Take a Hike! In this set of 12 monthly designs, you get 4 coordinating pieces. The name of the month with a teeny verse finishes about 8 x 2-1/2. Then, three smaller cushion-sized pieces - all 2-1/2 inches on 18/36. In the August example, the 8 refers to the 8th month, and the 31 refers to 31 days in the month. We don't have all the months yet... but I kind of like the idea of turning this into a perpetual calendar. You're getting all the months with really cute motifs appropriate to each... and you're getting all the numbers... see what you can come up with! Anyway, each month is presented in its own chart, and we have only May, June, July and August so far. I don't know her release schedule ...so an auto-ship might be easiest to help keep up with the remaining 8 of these in the set!

- Tropic Troupe - Paulette is releasing some sizzling stitching this summer! Tropic Troupe is the latest in her series of animal stacks... this one even includes little swimming fish and a seagull. Finishes the same size as all the rest... shipping to us late June.
- A Fine Spot - At first you see the pomegranate pot, but then... there's a little frog hoping to go unnoticed under his shady spot! Paulette says he's like a 'stitching frog' - he's going unnoticed until you're well into the project, and THEN you have to 'rip-it!' Stitched with Classic hand-dyeds on 36ct Country Vintage Mocha, it measures 50 x 71 - so only a little under 3 x 4!

- A Time to Work - The summer edition of this 4-part series is here. A Time to Sow was the Spring piece, it only makes sense that Summer is the time to work what you've sown. Coded for DMC with a little Weeks hand-dyed tossed in, this finishes a little smaller than 5 x 8 on 40ct.
- No Place Like Home - 'Amid pleasures and palaces though we may roam, be it ever so humble, there's no place like home.' Everybody need this one! I kind of like the idea of leaving off the top motifs and repeating that lovely dark border above the heart on the roof. DMC and hand-dyeds... it's a very pretty piece, measuring 145 stitches square.
- Goodness and Mercy - Featuring Psalm 23 as its verse, this is full of restfull golds and greens. A medley of DMC, Weeks and Classic hand-dyed flosses, it measures 268 x 286 - so finishes a generous 15 x 16 on 36ct. Teresa has also done a small pillow piece featuring just the verse... all is beautifully presented in a full color leaflet.

Quirky Autumn -- More delightful little animals from Twin Peak Primitives
Oh wow... 4 more little animals to add to this charming collection of wild ones... along with 3 motifs to match the season. Twin Peak has three books out now with these funky, stylized critters... Quirky 2024, and Christmas 2024. So far we have a rooster, raccoon, bunny, dog, cat, horse and fox joining a Christmas owl, reindeer, angels, kings and gnomes.
And now - the turkey, partridge, squirrel and hedgehog, not to mention the acorns, scarecrow and pumpkin! Each has beautiful geometric designs within them - giving your eye lots of cool patterns to see. Everything is coded for DMC, each measures between 3 and 5 inches in size, and each is presented as a big chart with smaller colored one in it's book. |

- Red, White & Blue is the newest Doodle design by Heart in Hand. A medley of smaller motifs to create a cute holiday decoration. Presented as a chart, the design is done with hand-dyeds or DMC and finishes about 3-1/2 inches in size on 36ct.
- Sunny Day will make you smile! Finishing about 4 inches in size on 18/36ct fabric, the chart comes with two little wooden sunflower button embellishments - visible in the pic on the tall stalks.
- The Shepherd Frill - This little guy matches Cecilia's Nativity Tiny Town, and companions the Three Kings Frill design as well. Stitch count is only 30 x 40... so it stitches in a jiff, and theoretically 'should' be able to finish before this Christmas! Small card format.

This is a pretty piece! Measuring 228 x 227, it finishes about 12 x 12 on 36ct. That cool stone mill is surrounded by a meandering wildflower border that doesn't repeat anywhere! Can you see the little pond down in the bottom left corner of the border?
The verse reads: Magnolia blooms and cotton fields, where gentle rivers wind, in southern warmth and cicada's song, the heart of home you'll find. Coded for DMC or a medley of hand-dyed flosses... this is super-charming! |
Summery Designs from Twin Peak Primitives
- Summer - Oh, love this! A charming little 70 x 70 (4 x 4 inches) seaside town scene is surrounded by a border of more summer life at the waterfront. You can make just the smaller inside panel, or stitch all of this - finishing just 6 inches square on 18/36ct. That border would be cute as a stitched 'mat' around a special picture you have as well. Charted for DMC, the chart is presented in both black and white and in color.
- 3 Whales Quaker - This piece measures 97 x 190, so finishes about 5 x 10 on 18/36ct fabric. Coded for DMC, the colors are so pretty - dusty, and watery, and beachy! 644, 646, 648, 746, 775, 822, 926, 928, 7, 3072 and 3862, it's just peaceful. Not sure what a connection would be between whales and Quaker... so you might have work through that a little (!), but something about the piece is attractive. Chart is printed both black and white and in color.
- American Eagle - This one is stitched in just one color - you choose! Do navy blue if you want, choose a hand-dyed, whatever! It measures 88 x 83, so finishes a little smaller than 5 inches on 18/36ct. They used DMC 3852 for the cover pic, but offer Weeks Daylily or Gentle Art's Toffee as other color ideas - but if you want a red or blue - GO FOR IT!

Celebration and Parkington Manor Sampler from Rosewood Manor
- Celebration - A large piece, 325 x 185 on 32xt linen. Floss is mostly DMC, but a little Rainbow Gallery is used as well. This 14-page booklet includes a small sampler with the numbers 1776 & 2026! Insert 1776 on top left-hand and 2026 on top right-hand side of the roof, where the red, silver & blue fireworks are, and celebrate America's 250th Anniversary!
- Parkington Manor Sampler - This is a soft and quiet piece! Stitched with Weeks Dye Works White Lightening, Galvanized, Blue Heron, Sea Foam, Verdigris and Blue Jeans, it measures a grand 196 stitches square, and will finish 11 inches square on 18/36ct. I imagine you could change the color scheme to match any other particular room... but the Galvanized is a gray - and we don't get many things with such a gray colorway - so it's very unique.

- Thread, White & Blue - What a fun little 'box' cushion and coordinating paper book! Companioning 'Wear it Well' - this is a combo chart that offers that darling cube - which is stitched on every side, along with the 'paper journal' that is also stitched on both sides and is joined with felt. All red, white and blue, both pieces feature cute tiny motifs all over the place. The Cube is stitched on one piece of fabric, the book uses 2 pieces of 18ct perforated paper. - Patriotic Bouquet - A pretty little piece, this measures 86 x 107 WITH the corner medallions, 68 x 80 without. Coded for DMC - there are 32 shades and another 9 shades of various hand-dyed flosses. A lot going on in this little space! The chart graphics are nice and big, $15.00
- The Beehive Sampler - Soft creamy honey yellows and lavenders, this measures 220 x 104. Coded for DMC but also calling for 8 hand-dyeds with no conversions. It's not very big at all... just very charming! 12 x 6 on 36ct. Chart runs $14.00
- The Voice of the Garden - This one is lovely. It needs a super honey-colored or creamy background - to help with the softness of the colors. 'The hum of the bees, is the voice of the garden.' I think just the bee and flower would be pretty alone as well. Measures 132 x 208 - so finishes approx 6-1/2 x 10 on 40ct! Chart $16.00.

Presenting Hetty's Rose Garden Biscornu and Hedgehog from Just Nan
Hetty�s Rose Garden... expected about May 15... features lovely rose gardens on soft pink linen with a charming pink hedgehog nestled in the center. This pretty spring/summer design is a companion piece to Frost Flower Garden which is nearly gone. Two different garden designs of shaded pink roses with soft green leaves decorate the 2 sides of the biscornu. Sparkling gold crystal and pink crystal seed beads are sprinkled throughout. A pink quartz heart bead centers each side. The finished project is accented with a pearl pin in each of the 8 corners of the biscornu (included).
Hetty Hedgehog wears a coat stitched in shades of pink and green, highlighted with 6 Hedge Rose special stitches. Pink and gold crystal beads plus pink crystal bugle beads attached with straight pins add lots of hedgehog texture. Her pretty rose pin is made from a gold heart flower sequin, pink flower sequin and a round pink bead.
Nan has stitched both the biscornu and the hedgehog on 32 Ct Linen with 10 colors of DMC floss. Included with the leaflet are all stitching and finishing instructions, seed beads, bugle beads, heart beads, 2 sequins and bead for the rose pin, our signature button base and 8 pearl pins.You will need to provide straight pins and stuffing for both the biscornu and hedgehog. To keep them from going astray, instructions for the hedgehog are attached to the back of the color cover, held in place with a cute little heart paper clip.

Spring Releases from Blue Flower
Jeannine is the queen of 'flora and fauna' in her creative designs - and these two are filled with all sorts of Spring life!
- Sea & Shore celebrates the joy of visiting the shore. Inspired by its Happy Campers she has a whole cast of characters enjoying their outing to the sea. They're taking the ferry, they're lounging in the sand, kites in the air, and someone is fishing... it's really full of fun. Details everywhere, lots of smaller design areas that would break up nicely into smaller cushions or stand-up bricks for a windowsill or something, this measures 221 x 191. Jeannine chose Cypress fabric by Fiber on a Whim (closest to DMC 03) and lots of DMC along with hand-dyeds to stitch this. On 32ct, it will finish a generous 14 x 12 - and with this much cuteness in it - you might need to buy a beach house just to have a place to hang it!
- Prairie Home is the companion to Forest Home. Jeannine celebrates the amazing plants and animals of the grassland prairie with this 193 x 143 piece. She's just puts all kinds of stuff on these, and then luckily tells you what they are in the chart information. So colorful, timeless in design, you can stitch this and enjoy it every Spring - are you one of those that rotates your seasonal decorations? A Stitcher's Garden from The Drawn Thread Exclusively for the Silver Needle
By Cynthia Zittel, this is a busy design full of color and special stitches just like all her seasonal gardens. Joining Sunnyside, Kitchen, Herb and Butterfly Gardens, and the 4 Seasons set, this features everything special to its subject. She came as our Summer Event Designer a couple of years ago and this sampler and little linen tote was our project. Then, she did a companion pin cushion for our 'A Little Help From Our Friends' Stitching Circle last year to go with it.

We've been enjoying these in the shop since late last Fall.
- Monster House - Super colorful and just delightfully scary, every room in this haunted house features a different occupant. Someone down in the parlour is headless, there are ghosts dancing in the ballroom, a howling wolf is waiting in one of the bedrooms, the resident witch is brewing dinner, there are cats and bats and spiders, Dracula hanging upside down in the attic, and even a mummy up in the tower. So full of bright DMC color, the stitch count is 131 x 217, so it finishes a generous 8 x 13-1/2 on 32ct! Definitely cute to hang for the Halloween Season - and break away from just orange and blacks. Full color leaflet $17.00

Cats and Dogs of the Months by Romy's Creations
What a fun little collection of cats and dogs! Pin Cushion-sized pieces, she has her kitties and pups each doing the same things in a given month. In March, they are both in the shamrocks, April they are both wearing bunny ears. Each design measures 58 stitches, and they are coded for DMC floss.
You can choose to get only the CATS or DOGS, or both... I'm thinking that basket of 24 little cats and dogs would be darling! The rest of the months come out later this year... no timing info, so we're starting auto-ships! |

Just in time for planting season... Diane has done another of her long and skinny alphabets - a companion to her 4-Seasons of these. Farmer's Market just makes you want to grow and pick, shop and sell it all and eat it!
Corn, cherries, carrots and jam. Lettuce, the market stands, peaches and pumpkins. Strawberries and watermelons... I think the little wagon might have puppies in it!
She's done a great job with it... it measures 39 x 311, and is stitched with DMC and her Classic Colorworks hand-dyed flosses. The farmhouses are beautiful just by themselves - Zillow would have a field day! Each has the coolest trees with gorgeous geometrics in them. July's are plaid - and that pattern is hard to design and chart! Next, are the fantastic graphics in the sky. Easter's is absolutely gorgeous, and I kind of hate that it's partially hidden by the paper banner! It's a rainbow plaid that is so cool. Then, you stitch the letter banner pieces on perf paper, cut them out, and hang 'em across the sky. Each season is its own leaflet, heavy card stock, colored charts, DMC coding. These finish about 8 x 10 on 32ct.

Well, this is over-the-top cute! It is a 5-inch long Peyote Beaded scissor or Zipper fob of a skeleton mermaid. You string those arms and make the little hands, and then the bony tail, it just makes you smile!
Complete kit contains both the color chart and numeral directions to do this - just depends on which set of instructions your brain works better with. - The Sweet Birds Sing - 3 Projects based on an antique Welsh Sampler, the original is pretty bold and actually not very attractive. Alma worked her magic and came up with a glorious sewing roll and two little pic cushions - much softer on the colors! Presenting Seasons in the Garden from Jeannette Douglas - Available beginning May of 2025
Jeannette has designed a new 4-seasons set of designs - a companion set to her By The Sea. Measuring a total of 191 stitches square this is made up of the 4 seasons - each in its own corner of the design. Featuring the flora and fauna of its season, and stuffed with special stitches - the entire piece is full of hand-dyed silks in yummy colors.
Summer will release in May of 2025. Autumn in August, Winter in October and Spring in March of 2026. Hand-dyed fabric color is closest to DMC's 524, each kit will contain the chart and threads.
You supply a 36 linen - best to stick with that count so the threads will fit the fabric. Each season will include the chart and special thread pack and will run $78.00. Register now to get on the auto for that first kit to deliver this May! |

Originally published as a set of multiple kits, Jeannette is re-vamping and re-printing her fun My Stitching Album into ONE spiral-bound, organized, 126-page publication! A set of (8 or 12 - I don't remember!) different 5 x 7-ish band samplers FULL of featured specialty stitches, the original charts are long gone.
She has updated threads to DMC, but kept her original 10 colors of hand-dyed silks the same. It features full-sized, huge pics of the actual stitched samplers, huge full-page charts, huge stitch diagrams, nice-and-big-and-clear everything!
Limited in printing, we are taking orders for the books - she didn't say how many pages they are - but price is $92.00.

Only 52 x 54 in stitch count, it finishes just 5 x 5 - and this little guy is something like the 25th Globe design they have! He's smiling and getting ready to throw a snowball into his sky to make it snow all over again! Complete kit of chart, needle, linen and threads.
Pop of Luck - This is the 10th one of these! We took a pic of all of them together at Market... charming! Offered as a kit, 20ct linen, #5 Pearl Cottons, it's a breeze to stitch. If you aren't into the 'tree' part... just do the round... they make darling pin cushions. Complete kit of chart, linen, needle and threads. (and don't laugh when I mention that needle - sometimes we run across kits here and there from everywhere that actually do not include that! You're using a #20 or #22 Tapestry in here - just the right size to NOT tear up that heavy Pearl thread.)
Happy Groundhog Day Row - Well... we have missed this for 2025, but Ground Hog Day is already on the calendar for next year. If you have a reputation for decorating for all holidays, you'll blow everyone away if you whip out this little row for a week or so next year! He measures 162 x 37. If you do him over one on 25 Lugana, he'll be 1-1/2 x 6-1/2 and make a darling little pin cushion on your desk or window sill. If you do him over 2 on 20ct linen, he'll be 4 x 16! Coded for Weeks and DMC, but you probably have good colors in your stash already - save money because it's kind of a one-day holiday!
Penguin Stocking - This stocking joins Bent Creek's whole collection of stockings! It was actually done just for me last December - I have a new grand-daughter, and since I stitched the BC stockings for everyone in my daughter's family - I told them at Market last year that I needed a NEW stocking for this year! So little miss Nella had her stocking this year full of fun things from Ami and Opi. Chart, same size as the rest in the series, they are done on 20ct linen with pearl cottons. Super fun to change the colors and threads on these to add zip and zest! |

Each comes with that film-sheet cling covering that you will initially have to pull off the piece - but that keeps it from getting scratched before you own it. - The Earth Laughs and Liberty - Brenda's Spring and Summer seasons round out this short series of seasonal Quaker samplers. Joining Feels Like Fall and Peace & Goodwill, they're not too large to stitch, so if you want to put them away between the seasons, you won't feel too bad about it! Soft hand-dyed linen and floss colors, each measures about the same - 100 x 200-ish. Charts $12.00
- A Daily Reminder - Choose a lovely darker fabric for this to give it an aged look, the verse is one Brenda remembers from her childhood. One of her friend's moms would call it out as they were leaving the house... and she commented on how differently teenagers and adults take the advice! 'Be Good and Do Good' - apply those words to everything in life! This finishes about 10 x 10-1/2 on 36ct, and is done with a medley of hand-dyed flosses. Chart $14.00

- Hop Into Spring - This is enchanting! Finishing about 4 x 9 on 36ct linen, the pair of rabbits, the tulip and birds and vines, it all tucks beautifully into the little scalloped board by Chantelle's. Choose any 36ct, and your hand-dyeds. Brenda plans on using this finishing board again in future designs - you paint it, and add the 1/4 inch twill tape laced through the holes for added appeal. Chart $12.00, Board is $20.

A Great Batch from Shepherd's Bush!
- Presenting the New Shepherd's Bush Stocking - Olaf
It's Grandpa's turn (don't know who Olaf is... I haven't read T & T's story on the leaflet yet) for a stocking! Olaf has a curly beard, a bright red jacket and gray pants.
